The ASICS Headquarters built a new wing to their expanding Irvine, CA location and needed impressive graphics to cover the new walls. The design team at Vitro gained inspiration from the heritage behind the ASICS brand, using many historic images to highlight the brand's roots.

All of the images documenting the brands history were extremely low in quality and size, creating the biggest obstacle I had to overcome while producing these pieces. By reillustrating portions of the artwork, compositing several images together and applying a halftone treatment to nearly all the images I was able to create a unified style that blended the past with the present.

32 NYC buses. A visual takeover of the interior and exterior of Time Warner Center. Over 40,000 sq. ft. of paneling lining the walls of Columbus Circle Station – including a wall with over 43,000 participants names listed in recognition. A Times' Square install on the Toys 'R' Us building reaching 3 stories high and built from 33 individual panels. Over 15 retail windows around the globe.

Working as lead producer at Vitro I worked one on one with Art Director Kevin Lukens to set headline and image standards for the entire campaign. While personally implementing these standards, I also oversaw retouching, freelancers, and fellow production artists whose combined effort helped to make this campaign so successful.

While on a short term contact, I created the Distressed Futura Stencil font which features custom silk screened artwork and hand altered letterforms. Hurley integrated the new font into their online marketing campaigns and in store displays.

This project started with a request for an anime inspired logo for a startup silk screening company that specializes in anime and geek apparel. The logo and color palette was then extended to cover business cards, a web site, web banners, and promotional mailers. The website was designed to showcase the companies products while creating a sense of brand lifestyle for the consumers.

Having 72 hours from concept to completion, I produced storyboards, styleframes and Co-Art Directed with Bob Salzano for the intro to tv network CNBC's live broadcast 'Investing in America: A CNBC Town Hall Event with President Obama.' The largest obstacle in creating this 82 second intro was the time sensitivity of this weekend rush project, leaving no room to second guess yourself.

It was a certain success – even catching the attention of President Obama, stating as he sat down, "That was quite the lead-in." In addition to gaining the President's recognition, we won the 2011 CableFAX Program & Top Ops Award for Best Opening Sequence. Winners were announced October 18, 2011.

I offered to make the Austin based band, Cowboy & Indian, a mark that encapsulates their primitively elegant sound and style. The horse and indian are hand drawn symbols inspired by drawings made by the Plains Indians, and I drew a vertically symmetrical ampersand to tie them together. All the elements are made to be reversible so that if you turn them upside-down (so the indian is on top) everything will still read correctly.

While Interning at Fuse Interactive, I was in charge of the type layout and image production which helped contribute to the online experience of these two micro-sites. The first site was created to educate the user on the KFX®450R ATV, and introduced a fictional rough n' tumble character 'Salty Graves' who lead you through the site via video. The second site was to showcase the features and specs of the latest Ninja® ZX®-14.

The Wyland Foundation approached me with the opportunity to brand their newest environmental endeavor, FOCUS (Forests, Ocean, Climate, and Us). FOCUS is a nationwide campaign in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the Wyland Foundation, which uses art and science to make kids aware of the relationship between the health of each individual ecosystem and the health of the entire planet.

The goal of the educational site is to keep FOCUS program participants between 5th and 8th grade engaged in ongoing activities, discussions, and events about the environment. Keeping this in mind, the visual approach needed to convey a kid-friendly, environmental tone including the sea, sky, and forest, with an indication that art is involved. It also needed to correlate with the Foundation's 1,000 square foot biodiesel-powered mobile learning center that I previously designed.

The first header was digitally painted to create a clean and happy world, with a mature edge. The second header uses hand drawn illustrations that were manipulated to create a more comical and fantastic world. The FOCUS logo was created to be easily identifiable and able to stand on it's own, with or without the cloud graphic.

While on a short term contract with Hurley I was able to utilize scanned in textures to create 10 in-store display signs for Hurley's Signature Stores to ensure brand consistency and awareness. The visual development coincided with Hurley's current campaigns and web promotionals.
